Our function here is to contribute to the integration of individuals at risk of social and occupational exclusion. Almost 500 people have achieved labour integration through their collaboration with Fundació Deixalles and MAC Insular. Of whom, about 75% belong to groups with special vulnerabilities and who are at risk of social exclusion. These workers are responsible for the selection of recoverable materials coming into the plants for treatment and the reuse of bulky waste - furniture and electrical appliances - later traded at points of sale which Fundació Deixalles manages at different locations in Mallorca.
